DITO SIM Registration (Online Form with link)
Dito Tele Community has announced that users can now sign up their DITO SIM cards. This is in accordance with the government’s Republic Act No. 11934, called the SIM Registration Act, which is designed to help decrease crime and fraud. Before the Government takes action to deactivate your SIM cards, it’s important for both new and existing users to register by following these instructions.
When you register a new DITO SIM, you’ll get a text with a link to the registration form after you put the SIM card in your phone. If you’re already using a DITO SIM, you’ll need to follow one of the registration methods listed below to keep yourself safe from online scams, theft, spam messages, fake information, smishing, and other types of fraud.
Ways to Register Your DITO SIM
You have three options to register your DITO SIM, regardless of whether you have a prepaid or postpaid plan. The registration steps are just as easy as those for Globe and Smart SIMs. Here are the options available for registering your SIM card:
- Via DITO APP
- Via Web Portal Link
- Via SMS Link
Registering Your SIM with the DITO App
- To begin, simply download the DITO App on your smartphone, regardless of whether it’s an Android or iOS device.
- Once you’ve downloaded and installed the Dito App, launch it.
- By using username and password you can login in to app.
- On the Dashboard, select the SIM Registration icon or tap on the Register your SIM Banner.
- Choose the kind of registrant.
- Types of registrants are: Foreign Tourist, Filipino, and Foreign National with Visa, Filipino Dependent Minor and Business Organization.
- To get a one-time PIN, please input your 11-digit DITO Mobile Number or scan your SIM ICCID.
- Press the verify button to continue.
- Please enter the one-time PIN (OTP) to confirm your phone number.
- Click the submit button to proceed.
- Please verify your identity with the government ID card you chose.
- To take a picture of your ID card, click on the Camera icon and make sure the ID card is clear and easy to read.

- After you upload the ID Card photo, you’ll need to submit a selfie for additional verification.
Note: Please ensure your face is fully visible in the photo. Avoid any shadows, hats, sunglasses, or anything that obscures your face. The picture should show you from the shoulders up, facing the camera with your eyes open. Use clear image don’t use any filter and modifications.
- Please complete your personal information form. Once you have filled it out, click the Proceed button.
Important: Your personal information needs to be accurate and kept private, as required by the Philippine Government ID Card for SIM registration, whether you’re registering a TM SIM or a DITO SIM.
- In the upcoming section, DITO Telecommunity gives you the option to modify or update your information to correct any errors in your personal verification.
- Once you’ve reviewed your information, please tick both boxes to accept the terms and conditions.
- Press the Register button to finish up.
- Great news! DITO SIM Card registration is completed.
- You can begin your journey with DITO and tell your family and friends about it.
SMS Link Method to Register your DITO SIM
New subscribers can turn on their SIM cards by clicking a link sent via SMS. If it’s your first time using DITO, here’s what you should do:
- Put your SIM card into your phone.
- Look at the messages on your phone.
- DITO TeleCommunity will send you a link.
- Click this link to find out how to register your DITO SIM.
- Fill out the form according to the directions provided in the DITO App Method.
- Send it in, and you will be registered successfully.
Registering your DITO SIM through the online Portal

- It will direct you right to the DITO App.
- If you haven’t set it up yet, please download and install it.
- Next, finish your DITO SIM registration using the DITO App as outlined in the guide above.
Deadline for SIM Card Registration
OLD Users: If you have a subscription but haven’t activated your DITO SIM, it will no longer work for calls, texts, or internet. Make sure to register by July 25, 2023.
New Users: You must activate their SIM card once they have placed it in the mobile’s SIM slot.
Facing Issues with SIM Registration

Struggling to Upload Images
A lot of individuals frequently struggle with the process of uploading selfies. It’s important to know that your image needs to be clear, acceptable, and under 2MB. You can use an online tool to resize your picture or simply take a screenshot of it before uploading. Taking a screenshot will automatically adjust the size of your photo.

Requirements for Personal Information
When registering for a DITO SIM, you’ll need to provide different personal information depending on what type of user you are. DITO classifies users into different groups as follows:
- Full Name
- Present or Official Address
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Identification card of the parents or guardian. You need permission from a parent or guardian to register a DITO SIM card.
- Certificate of Registration from the SEC/DTI
- Authority Granted by Special Power of Attorney (SPA) or a Resolution from the Board.
- Passport
- Location in the Philippines
- Proof of travel can be shown with a return ticket that includes the departure date and time from the Philippines.

- The Alien Certificate of Registration Identification Card, commonly referred to as the ACRI Card, has been issued by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
- The agency that gives out visas provided an official identification.
- Student enrollment and identification cards.
- The Department of Justice provides travel or entry documents for individuals in need.
